Stacey Campbell is the owner and founder of Go Fetch Dog Training, a professional dog training service based in San Francisco and covering both San Francisco and San Mateo counties.  Since 2007, Stacey has been providing training and behavior modification plans for all breeds, ages, and sizes of dogs. She uses scientifically proven, positive, rewards-based training techniques that foster a strong guardian-dog relationship and make training fun. Stacey has worked with numerous clients to solve a wide variety of challenging behavior problems. You can read the Success Stories page for some great examples.

Background: Stacey is a 2006 graduate of the prestigious San Francisco Academy for Dog Trainers, where she also earned a training certificate specializing in dog-dog aggression.  Since graduating Stacey works as a staff trainer at the San Francisco SPCA, where she teaches weekly classes and continues to develop many of the shelter’s current class curriculums. At the SPCA, Stacey has also counseled adopters, performed behavioral evaluations and rehabilitated numerous shelter dogs.  Stacey continues to strengthen her dog training skills by attending seminars/workshops.  She is a Professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, a Licensed Registered Veterinary Technician, and an active participant in local dog training clubs.

Stacey, Roo, and PennyStacey began her dog training career after rescuing a beagle mix.  Penny, who recently passed away at the age of 17, came to her with extreme fear and separation anxiety issues. In 2007, Stacey adopted a husky mix from the San Francisco SPCA.  Roo! was a high energy, fearful and reactive dog.  With Stacey’s guidance Roo! has overcome her behavior problems and has channeled her enthusiasm into dog sports. Together they have competed successfully in obedience, rally and agility.  Roo! is currently one of the top agility dogs in the country.  She was the 2012 AKC Invitational Champion,  2013 AKC National Agility Champion and 2016 AKC National Agility Champion.  In 2013, she became the first All American to earn a spot on the U.S. Large Dog Team at the European Open. In 2014, Roo! made history by winning the 24 inch class and the Best All American trophy at the Westminster Kennel Club’s first annual Master Agility Championship.  She was presented with her award on National TV at Madison Square Garden.  She then went on to win the Best All American trophy again in 2015. See Roo!’s Blog to check out all of the amazing videos and press coverage.

Along with running Go Fetch Dog Training, Stacey contributes training articles to national publications, as well as rescue organizations.  Stacey is a long time volunteer for the local, non profit rescue organization, Muttville Senior Dog Rescue, where she offers behavior consultations to adopters, foster caretakers, and volunteers.
